Workplace community and job site Glassdoor have announced their “Best Places to Work 2025”. Pooling data from annoymous employee reviews their results paint an interesting picture on who is winning the battle for staff retention and talent attraction.
The big tech seems to be losing appeal among employees, we’ve known for a while that employees aren’t interested in flashy perks, but these results show that the wider appeal of working in the tech sector could be waning further.
Google topped the chart in 2018, Meta were 4th and Apple were 9th, now none of these organisations feature.
